Part of Asking For a Friend , a series of ten hand-blown vases first presented at Assembly Line in Brooklyn during NY Design Week in May 2022. Developed in close collaboration with glassblowers Keep Brooklyn, the series was an investigation into form and color as emotional material — how shape, in combination with color and decorative detail, produces feeling. Each vase in the series was conceived as a functional object and a thing to be looked at in equal measure.
